Some gaps cannot be closed by advice. They need someone who owns delivery. Interim & Transformation Leadership places an experienced program, PMO, or transformation leader inside your organization for a defined term, selected for the specific program and backed by SIC throughout.
When this fits
- A program leadership role is vacant and the program cannot wait for a permanent hire.
- A major implementation needs senior leadership your current structure does not have.
- A transformation is larger than the organization was built to absorb.
- A program has been stabilized and needs sustained leadership to reach completion.
What we do
- Select a leader for the program in front of you, by fit rather than availability.
- Embed them with clear authority, reporting lines, and a defined term.
- Back them with SIC's wider network when the program needs expertise beyond one person.
- Stay connected to engagement health throughout, without supervising a capable leader.
- Plan the transition from the start, so capability stays with your organization when the term ends.
What you receive
A leader who owns delivery from day one, and an organization more capable than when they arrived.
Timeline
Design or Deliver phase, for a defined term matched to where the program is: about six months through planning, or six months to two years through implementation.
Often followed by
Managed Delivery & Specialized Talent, where the program needs a team as well as a leader.
Questions
How is this different from hiring a contractor?
A contractor fills a role. An interim leader through SIC is selected for the specific program, owns its delivery, and is backed by a wider network when the work requires it. SIC remains accountable for the relationship and the standard of delivery.
What happens at the end of the term?
The transition is planned from the start. The goal is an organization that can carry the program without us, whether that means a permanent hire, an internal successor, or a team that has absorbed the capability.
